Second Ice Climbing and Drytooling Festival

On February 15 and 16, the Butakovskiy Waterfall hosted the "AlmatyMixt" ice climbing and drytooling festival on natural terrain. This year, we took the festival to the next level!
On the first day of the festival, participants had the opportunity to choose from 20 different routes. The event was designed to be as free as possible, allowing participants to climb the routes they preferred. On the second day, the six women and six men who had shown the best results in the qualifying round competed in the final on three challenging routes. All the other routes were also available for climbing at any time for anyone who wanted to try them. Here are the winners!
- 2 climbing days
- 23 routes (ice, mixed and DT)
- 65 participants from Kazakhstan, Germany, Iran, China, Finland, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan
