About the program
Karabshin, or Asian Patagonia, is the most challenging location for big-wall climbing in Central Asia and one of the must-visit places, even if you're not a climber.
Here are some famous peaks: Odessa, Asan, Usen, Slesova, with the "Perestroika Crack" route, Ortotyubek, Kirchilta, Kotina and Yellow and Silver Walls, among others. There are dozens of routes here, ranging from one-day climbs to multi-day big walls.
We can arrange a personalized climbing program or a small group program. We also offer trekking trips and can assist you with managing your expedition as local experts.

- English-speaking guides (2 person max for 1 guide for climbing program).
- All logistics: Round transfer from Osh to Batken, Jeeps from Batken and horses to BC.
- Border permits.
- Meals during expedition: full board.

The program is customized based on your experience, the routes you are going to climb, and the time available. This is how our previous programs in Karabshin looked like.
In 2023 it was a 21-day program. We climbed 5 routes 5A-5B Russian grade, one new route.
In 2024 it was a 15-day program. We climbed 4 routes 5A-5B Russian grade.

- Day 1 - Driving from Osh to Batken and then by jeeps to the end of the road.
- Day 2 - Trekking to BC in Kara-Su valley.
- Day 3 - Setting camp, rest, acclimatisation.
- Day 4 - Climb Yellow Wall - Classical route (5A Russian grade).
- Day 5 - Rest day.
- Day 6 - Approach to Usen peak.
- Day 7 - Climb Usen peak - Saveliev route (5A Russian grade).
- Day 8 - Descent to BC, rest.
- Day 9 - Rest day.
- Day 10 - Climb Yellow Wall - Prokofiev route (5B Russian grade).
- Day 11 - Rest day.
- Day 12 - Rest day.
- Day 13 - Climb Yellow Wall - New route (5A Russian grade).
- Day 14 - Rest day.
- Day 15 - Rest day.
- Day 16 - Bad weather day.
- Day 17 - Approach to Asan peak.
- Day 18 - Climb Asan peak - Gorbenko route (5B Russian grade).
- Day 19 - Climb Asan peak, descent from the route, descent to BC.

- Day 21 - Trekking, driving. Arrival in Osh at night.

- Day 8 - Climb Missing Mountain (650 meters, 15 pitches, up to 6b+)
- Day 9 - Rest day.
- Day 10 - Bad weather day.
- Day 11 - Move to Kara-Su valley. Setting new BC.
- Day 12 - Climb Yellow Wall - Prokofiev route (5B Russian grade).
- Day 13 - Rest day.
- Day 14 - Rest day.
- Day 15 - Trekking, driving. Arrival in Osh at night.

July 2025Karabshin is one of the best adventures I've ever had. It's a beautiful place where I want to return.
There are a lot of huge amazing walls created to climb. It was a challenge in a technical way because these walls needed all our technical skills. And it was also a challenge in a mental way because we needed to be patient and consistent.
At the same time we had lots of incredible views and unforgettable moments in Karabshin. This place is absolutely worth to go. I have no doubts that I wanna repeat this trip again.
